Blabberize Files, Check Them Out!!!
For our country reports, we all created a "Blabberize Voice Thread" about our country.
Pretty cool! Check out what your classmates have to say about their country.

10 Days of School left!
The school year is coming to an end, we are wrapping it up, and preparing our brains for 6th grade. Congratulations to all of my students for working so hard this school year, and doing their best to achieve good grades and meet expectations.
With only a few days left, please remember that we need to finish the school year strong. Please continue to follow expectations, and meet due dates in order to participate in the end of the year activities. Thank you! :)

Conferences are this week! October 24th - October 26th.
I look forward to meeting with all parents this week. Please remember that our conference times are scheduled as a "student led" conference. Parents, if you need time to speak privately, please schedule an additional meeting time. I'm sure you will be very proud of the work your child has completed in 1st quarter.
2nd Quarter News!!
It's hard to believe that we are already working in the 2nd quarter of 5th grade. The time flies fast. Parents and students, you should expect that our work will get more rigorous in 2nd quarter. A very exciting resource we will implement this quarter will be the use of our new laptop computers! Each student has their own laptop to be used at school and at home. If your child has not yet received their laptop to take home, all you need to do is sign off for the computer at parent conferences. I look forward to all the new learning in 2nd quarter. Students, be prepared, stay focused, and let's get some rockin' grades in 2nd quarter!
Meet Your Teacher
Hello! My name is Ms. Magos, and welcome to our classroom website. I will be your 5th grade teacher for the 2012-2013 school year. I am excited about teaching 5th grade this year! If you attended Estrella Vista last year, then you know that I was the technology teacher. I have been a teacher for 7 years, and I love what I do. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University, with a degree in Supply Chain Management & a Master's Degree in Education. I enjoy spending time with my fiance, family, and my little dog, Julie. I also like to garden and relax on the weekends. I'm super excited because I'll be getting married this November! Well, that's all I have to share about myself for now. I can't wait to meet all of my students on August 6th!
